Remembering Michael Jackson

[i'm writing this as i watch]

people that attended:
  • the family of course [the brothers each had a yellow tie and one white bedazzled glove. i thought that was precious yet really sad].
  • smokey robinson
  • mariah carey
  • troy lorenz
  • lionel richie
  • queen latifah
  • berry gordy
  • stevie wonder
  • kobe bryant
  • magic johnson
  • jennifer hudson
  • al sharpton
  • john mayer
  • brooke shields
  • martin luther king iii
  • bernice a king
  • sheila jackson lee
  • usher
  • shaheen jafargholi
  • many other people

  • and let's not forget, millions of fans.
he never had a childhood. never had a normal life. he was fortunate, but in many ways not. in many many people's eyes, he is a legend.

"i think he is the greatest entertainer that ever lived." -berry gordy, founder of motown record label

may he rest in peace.
bet he's moonwalkin in heaven. ;)

sidenote: do you see how much impact the media has on someone? the media can be the most misleading and hurtful thing. it's gross. i hope we don't all believe everything the media has to say... i sure don't. everything in the media is blown up--for our entertainment. & it does just that, it gets our attention. but don't believe everything you hear just because the media says it.

---------------------------->so i just watched the whole thing. TISSUES man TISSUES. brooke shields had me tearing, usher when he sang to the casket, jermaine singing smile by charlie chaplin, and paris had me BALLLINN outta control at the end. :'(

"ever since i was born daddy was the best father you could ever imagine. and i just wanted to say i love him so much." - paris

the memorial was a beauitful memorial.
very sad nevertheless. very moving.

goes to show, how ONE person, can really change so many lives.

gone too soon

gonna go watch oprah now. hope it's a happy episode. i need to watch something happy right now!!! talk to yall later!
