American Apparel Srunchies

so it's not like american apparel has never created a lil controversy or buzz--but what do yall think about their scrunchies? some critics say it's a weak attempt to make more money. some critics say it's their way of using all of the left over fabrics. $6 for one scrunchie though?

personally, they can do whatever they want. they still get people to buy stuff at the price they are charging. i was going to say overpriced, but... they do make everything in the states which is great... but i'd rather go buy something cheaper that looks the same if i can ya know? sadly i don't really look at where my stuff is made when i buy stuff, i don't really care. we talked about this in fashion class--how most of us say we don't want child labor or unfair wages being paid to workers outside of the country or don't support it, but we don't really do anything to change it/support that idea. ugh, babbling.

i definitely wouldn't pay $6 for a scrunchie though! only time i ever use one if is i wanna put my hair up at night and don't want a huge dent the next morning. haha.
